Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ArkiQ Solutions LLC(“Trajecta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Trajecta website at jointrajecta.com, the Trajecta mobile application, our marketing accounts on third-party platforms (including TikTok), and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

We are the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. If you have any questions, contact us at team@jointrajecta.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, password hash, and date of birth.
• Fitness profile: height, weight, body measurements, training history, goals, dietary preferences, and other inputs needed to compute your Gap Score and plan.
• Workout and nutrition logs: exercises completed, sets, reps, weights, meals, and macronutrient totals you record in-app.
• Communications: messages you send to support, in feedback forms, or via email.
• Recovery inputs: sleep hours and daily step counts, where you record them.
• Group activity:the groups you join or create, messages you send in them, and any report you file about another member’s message.
• Profile photo: if you set one, the image you choose from your camera roll.
• Payment information:handled by Apple’s in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We never see or store card details.

Information we collect automatically

• Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, time zone, language, crash reports, and feature interactions.
• Cookies and similar technologies on the website for essential session functionality and aggregate analytics.
• Push notification tokens, if you allow notifications, so we can send the reminders you turned on. You can revoke them at any time in your device settings.

Camera and photo library

The mobile app asks for camera access only to scan a barcode on a food package, and for photo library access only when you set a profile picture. Barcodes are read on your device and used to look the product up; we do not keep photographs taken while scanning.

2. How we use information

• To create and operate your Trajecta account.
• To compute your Gap Score, generate training and nutrition plans, and personalize daily targets.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions through our payment processors.
• To send transactional emails (account, billing, plan updates) and, if you opt in, marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
• To diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the Service through aggregated analytics.
• To publish content on your behalf to TikTok or other platforms, only when you explicitly initiate the action.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

We rely on the following legal bases under GDPR / UK GDPR: contract (to deliver the Service you signed up for), consent (for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (to secure the Service and improve it), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, regulatory compliance).

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providerswho process data on our behalf under written contracts: Supabase (database and auth hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Apple (app distribution and in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management), Resend (email), Anthropic (the AI model behind our estimates, plans and coaching — see section 5), and analytics/error-tracking providers. Each of them is bound by written contract to provide the same or equal protection of your data as this policy states, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.
• Other Trajecta users, when you choose to share with them. If you join or create a group, the other members of that group can see your name, profile photo, streak, daily and weekly scores, Gap Score, and any messages you send in it. Leaving a group stops future sharing; messages you already sent remain visible to that group.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. AI processing

Parts of Trajecta are generated by a large language model provided by Anthropic. When you use them, the relevant information is sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the reply:

• Food estimates: the food you selected or typed and your answers about it.
• Daily and weekly plans: your goal, targets, and recent training and nutrition history.
• Trajecta Coach: the messages you send it and the recent activity needed to answer them.
• Your weekly recap: the summary sentence attached to your Gap Score.

We send what the feature needs and no more. Under our commercial terms with Anthropic, this data is not used to train their models. Group messages between members are never sent to it.

These outputs are estimates, not measurements. See the section on accuracy and results below.

6. International transfers

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (for example, billing records for tax purposes). Backups are purged on a rolling basis within 90 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data and your account;
• export your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, email team@jointrajecta.com from the email address on your account, or use the in-app Settings → Delete account control. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest for our managed databases, hashed passwords, role-scoped access controls, and audited third-party providers. No system is perfectly secure, so you should also use a strong, unique password.

10. Children’s privacy

Trajecta is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at team@jointrajecta.com and we will delete it.

11. Health and wellness data

Some of the data you give us (weight, body measurements, exercise performance) may be considered health-related. We treat this data with the same protections as other personal data and process it only to deliver the Service to you. Trajecta is not a covered entity under HIPAA, and the Service is not a medical device.

12. Accuracy and results

Trajecta’s Gap Score, daily score, calorie and protein estimates, training plans and coaching are generated by AI and are estimates, not measurements. They are not guaranteed to be accurate for your situation, individual results vary, and we do not guarantee any particular fitness outcome. The Service is for general informational and motivational purposes only.

13. Cookies

The marketing site uses essential cookies for navigation and session integrity, and aggregate analytics cookies to understand traffic. The mobile app does not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

14. Third-party platform privacy policies

When you use Trajecta together with a third-party platform, that platform’s privacy policy also governs the data they collect from you:

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
